Cookie policy
This site sets nothing you have not agreed to. One entry in your browser remembers your answer; everything optional waits until you say yes. Below is the whole list, what each one does and how to change your mind.
Small files, and a plain explanation
A cookie is a small file this site asks your browser to keep. Related technologies do the same job under another name — this site uses one entry of browser local storage to remember your answer to the banner, which never leaves your device. The rules are the same for both, so we list them together and call the section cookies because that is what everyone calls it.
We use the fewest we can get away with. Nothing here identifies you by name, and none of it is shared with anyone for their own advertising. What we do with the data itself is covered in the privacy policy.
Every cookie this site can set
Not running at the moment. We rarely advertise. If we do, these are the cookies involved, and only after you accept.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, for security and to spot broken pages. Those are not cookies and they are deleted on a rolling basis.
Change your mind here, at any time
Refusing the optional categories costs you nothing on this site. Nothing is hidden behind acceptance and there is no second prompt. "Ask me again" clears your answer entirely and brings the banner back, which is how you withdraw a consent you have already given.
Content that comes from elsewhere
Our location pages draw map tiles from OpenStreetMap. That does not set a cookie, but the tile server sees your IP address, as any server must to send you an image.
Where a page carries a video, it loads only when you press play, and the platform then sets its own cookies under its own policy. If you would rather it did not, do not press play.
Or handle it yourself
Every browser will show you the cookies a site has set and let you delete them, and most will let you block third-party cookies outright. Look under privacy settings in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Clearing them will also clear your answer above, so we will ask once more.
Nothing breaks
Refuse everything optional and the site works exactly as it does now. You can still send an enquiry, book a visit and read every page. Nothing is hidden behind acceptance, there is no second prompt, and we will not ask again unless you clear your answer. We simply lose the count, which is our problem rather than yours.
