Understated to look at, serious to listen to.
A completely bespoke media wall holding a 5.2.2 Artcoustic speaker system, managed in house from first drawing to final commissioning. The client wanted a clean architectural feature that did not read as tech-heavy, but still gave a proper cinematic experience.
Careful speaker positioning and acoustic planning were what made that possible: immersive surround without the design giving way to it. Every aperture was set before anything was built.
A full Control4 lighting system with colour-tunable LED and human-centric settings lets the room shift through the day, from brighter functional light to warmer tones for the evening and for film nights, all from one interface.
A Bang & Olufsen Beosound 9000 was built into the system, so the client’s music plays through the Artcoustic surround setup without another box appearing in the room.
Hidden ventilation was built into the wall to manage heat and acoustics together, so the system runs reliably with nothing on show. The finished wall looks understated and behaves like a cinema.
