Who runs it Showroom staff, from a web page, in a couple of minutes.

They asked for six screens. We talked them into one.

The brief

Awesome had just finished rebuilding their premises in Irlam and wanted something to show products and services on. The showroom is the sort of space you do not want to fill with racks of stock, so the screen had to do that job instead.

The honest answer

The brief asked for four or six displays tiled into a wall. We talked it through: six screens means six sets of content to keep in step, and a grid of black lines across the middle of everything. One large screen costs about the same, looks considerably better, and takes one file to update.

Changing what is on it

Staff edit the screen from a web page. Product information, services, video, a welcome message for a supplier arriving that afternoon: written and up in a couple of minutes, by whoever is nearest.

The result

It is the last thing customers expect when they walk in, and the first thing they mention. The floor stays clear, and the showroom demonstrates its work without a single shelf of stock in sight.
